The new school year has started / is starting... if you are still truly in holiday mode, please feel free to delete this email :) Here are two resources to get the year started well.
ADA Project
ADA Project is a free, expanding, online Mathematics textbook written by a Maths teacher, for students and teachers.

Sam is doing a great job building question sets, your help to create solutions will help many students.

Dates as operations
Like most teachers I write the date at the top of the whiteboard each day. As an extra point of interest, in 2016 I started to write a number sentence using the digits of the date, in order, underneath the date. This continued in 2017 with a collaborative sheet of possible number sentences. Here is the 2018 version, feel free to contribute.
[Sorry if you operate in mm/dd/yy]

Have you made an original resource for maths teaching that you could share? The simplest resource may be just the thing another teacher was looking for. Share on MathsFaculty.
